Masai Mara National Park is the most sought-after destination in Kenya, it straddles the country’s border with northern Tanzania adjoining the famous Serengeti National Park, it is famous for the great wildebeest migration one of the most thrilling experiences of the world and has been named among the 7 wonders of the word, the beautiful rolling hills of the endless savannah are angelic to witness, these are habitat to several wildlife species including the so-called big five of the wilderness(African elephants, African buffaloes, lions, leopards, and Rhinos), the Masai Mara is one of the few destinations of Africa with a high population density of Cats.

Accommodation in Masai Mara National Park is abundant within and outside the national park, it ranges from luxury facilities to the best budget, these offer places to stay for guests who reach out to the destination, lodges include;Mara Serena Lodge, which is one of the largest facilities in the Mara triangle, it is an angelic luxury facility presenting 74 rooms these are built to fit in the environment within which it is built, the design of the rooms is inspired by Masai Manyattas, they are super angelic overlooking the river Mara,  the rooms feature a private balcony, flush toilets and bathrooms running both cold and warm water. Keekorok Lodge is a midrange facility offering comfortable accommodation to travellers, it is beautifully surrounded by vast lush green savannah, and the lodge has been built on 80 hectares of land it is one of the very first properties to be opened in the national park, having 101 guest rooms these feature an ensuite bathroom, and private balconies overlooking the beautiful savannah vegetation.  The lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and a restaurant serving delicious meals with complimentary tea or coffee. At the bar dock, guests get to enjoy the amazing hippo pool area.

Mara Sopa Lodge is a property of the Sopa lodges, the facility is situated along the slopes of the Ollolaimutia hills, it is also among the first facilities to be built in the national park, all rooms have been built in favour of traditional African-style boasting lovely conical hills rooftops, the swimming pool area is heavenly to experience, there are 99 rooms some of which are interconnecting and amazing for family visits, they are built with an ensuite bathroom, tv in the bar area and Wi-Fi.

In conclusion, there are a variety of accommodation facilities in Masai Mara, it is wise to book accommodation in the part of Masai Mara where you would like to do game activities, for example, if considering visiting during the great wildebeest migration, it ok to book facilities near the river Mara to be closer to one of earth’s greatest happenings.
