Nyerere National Park is a beautiful destination of Tanzania and a hot spot for many travellers to the country, it used to be the former Selous game reserve one of the world’s largest game reserves, the park is to the north of the protected ecosystem covering an area space of approximately 30,893 square kilometres, it had a change of name in 2019 in memory of Tanzania’s president Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.  The national park is one of the best safari destinations not to miss on your Tanzanian trip, it is a collection of most African species including the so-called big five of the wildernesses (lions, leopards, African Buffaloes, African elephants, and Rhinos).
