Flying to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of the best ways to get to the conservation area, the park is one of the few montane forests of Uganda, it has developed over time said to have survived since the ice age era, it is strategically located on the southwestern part of Uganda at the edge of the Albertine rift valley, it is renowned for mountain gorillas, the gentle species live in the park together with other creatures, these live in habituated families present in the 4 sectors(Nkuringo, Rushaga, Buhoma, Ruhija) for client visit. Flying to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park begins at the Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Kampala, routing Via Kihihi or Kisoro, there are domestic flight handling companies flying to the destination including Aerolink Uganda, Kampala Executive Aviation (KEA), BAR aviation among others, these are arranged using their special fleets, for example, Aerolink takes the Cessna caravan, Bar aviation is does helicopter flights to the destination. Flights can be on schedule, these leave and depart the airstrip in the morning hours depending on the set times of the airlines. while Charter flights can be arranged to fly out any time of the day. Flights to the destination last for 2hr30m depending on the weather conditions of the day. Helicopters can land at particular points, the airstrip, or even specific lodges at their helipads, it should be noted that for the helicopters to land at the UWA grounds one needs permission from the Authority to do so in case they are flying privately.

In Conclusion, the other alternative is a drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park, there are several access points of the national park from Kampala it takes approximately 9 hours to drive to the forest routing via Kabale, experienced guides will take you around western Uganda past small angelic towns and villages. The park can be accessed from Rwanda via the Cyanika border, taking 6 hours drive to arrive at the park just in time for lunch.
