Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the most sought-after protected conservation areas of Kenya located along the floor of the Great Rift Valley region, it is home to over 450 species of birds and about 50 mammal species including the so-called big four of the wilderness(African buffaloes, lions, Leopards, rhinos) the park is endowed with the famous Lake Nakuru which occupies most of its area space of approximately 188 square kilometres, it is blanketed in the pink cover of greater and lesser flamingo which feed on the green algae on the Lake.
